Nördlingen "insider tip": great (somewhat hidden) beer garden, nice to sit inside too, great cuisine with local specialties and occasional extras. My favorite: the salads (not the vegetarian ones, although they are also delicious), e.g. Shanghai, rich with skewers and mini spring rolls and a delicious herb baguette.
Nice location, with a good home-style menu. Excellent cuisine.
Top duck. Delicious.
Cozy restaurant with nice service and good food
Great comfort food and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
A really cozy restaurant, great price-performance ratio, beautiful dining room and beautiful garden. Insider tip for Nördlingen
Nice place to relax. Delicious meal.
The Schäufele is really to be recommended. Unfortunately only on the day ticket. We had five pieces with different side dishes (even Kässespätzle) all really great!
As always, very tasty
Cozy, friendly and very well fed
It was very tasty
Beautiful beer garden, very good taste, friendly service
Friendly and funny staff and family atmosphere, a wonderful little beer garden, a menu that does not convince with many, but excellent dishes. There is a hall for parties or meetings and many extras can be negotiated with the owners. A good middle-class restaurant that I can warmly recommend to anyone who wants to eat well in Nördlingen. In addition to the menu, there are also seasonal specialties and / or dishes that the chef has a heart for. Vegetarian dishes are also available :)
Cozy inn in a rural atmosphere with a small, manageable menu of delicious dishes. Also pay attention to the board, there are also things outside of the card. The service is quick and friendly and you don't have to wait long for the food. Recommended !!!
Mega
I can only recommend it. Food was plentiful, price performance fits. Very nice and friendly staff.
Were there for the first time and completely satisfied! The food was very tasty and was really a large portion. The service was very courteous and friendly. We will gladly come again, price performance fits easily (2 persons main course + salad and each a drink 32 €)
Frequented by locals. Great local food, very helpful and friendly staff. The owner is very nice: she speaks very good English and understands Italian, but speaks little. They have menus only in German, but the owner is very happy to translate at the moment. Absolutely to come back! highly recommended!
Ate very well paid very little piùin addition we found the waitresses who spoke Italian .... I recommend it to the Italians who really want to taste German cuisine ...
nice people and super nice food. The recommended drink and food is amazing
Excellent German food and top beer. Small card + changing daily specials. Pleasant atmosphere and a relaxed crowd.
After 11 days traveling through Germany and insisting on traditional restaurants, even after we had divinely dined at Hotel Edita (Scheidegg), we were still looking for a traditional and regional German cuisine! Luckily, we bet on the Blaue Glocke, in our only night on the town! A restaurant frequented by people from the city, but the lady / lady who picked us up was extremely helpful and translated the whole menu into English. As a good pork connoisseur, I chose a palette of pork to pururuca (pururuca is a very Brazilian food, from Minas Gerais), accompanied with a German pasta and something similar to mashed potatoes. My wife asked for a hausgemachte (Whose translation I can not remember, but she ate it all !!!). We were very happy with the service and especially with the local culinary experience! :)
My everyday ....
17.10.2018 Very delicious eaten. We decided at short notice to eat in the "Blue Bell" and did not regret it. Friendly we were assigned a free table and just as friendly we were served. The decor is rustic and very comfortable, you also have the opportunity to sit outside. A bit off the pedestrian zone, it is quieter here and many Nördlinger seem to be regular customers here. The food was very tasty and filling. We had salad "mare" with calamari, cheese spätzle as a child's portion, Schnitzel with fries and baked Camembert. Nevertheless, a larger group in the outdoor area was to use and also in the restaurant almost all tables were occupied we did not need very long to wait for the food. Conclusion: The Schnitzel was juicy and not "dead-fried". If you liked the review, please click on the "Like" button. Thank you very much.
